Did you know that toads are actually a type of frog? Or that frogs can leap more than 20 times their own length?!

And check this out: When a frog swallows his food, his bulgy eyeballs go down into his head and help to push the food down his throat!

Frogs have many natural predators, but they also have many ways to trick their predators. For instance, some frogs have stripes that look as though the frog is split in half! A stripe goes down the center separating the two “halves” and makes the frog's “outline” appear different. This helps the frog blend into her background and go unnoticed by her predators.
