A Winter Picnic (Show 1296)
| The Zucchini Brothers were glad they had a winter picnic right in their clubhouse. Here's how you can do the same thing with family and/or friends to shake off the winter doldrums when you're daydreaming of summer. Turn the heat up a bit, and put on a pair of shorts and a short-sleeved shirt. Place a picnic blanket on the living room floor, and set up an indoor picnic! Include some of your favorite summer foods, like popsicles, potato or macaroni salad, fruit--whatever you like. Put on music that makes you think of summer, or an envrionmental CD or tape that captures summer sounds. Take your time imagining it's summer and perhaps make a list of things you want to do when summer finally does arrive. When you're done with your picnic, remember to turn the heat back down! |
