Helping in Your Neighborhood (Show 1280)
The Zucchini Brothers try to get out and shovel snow for their neighbors whenever they can. You can be a helpful neighbor, too! There are so many ways to care for your neighborhood and the people living in it. For example, you can organize a Clean-Up Club that meets each month to pick up any garbage found along the road...or help neighbors do outdoor yard work. If you know of any neighbors who are sick, have a new baby, or are especially busy, you could show them you care by making food for them. You could make a batch of your favorite cookies or a simple meal you know how to make--and really brighten their day!
What other ways can you think of to help out in your neighborhood and be a good neighbor? With a little bit of thought, maybe you can really get something started! |
