STATEMENT FROM JACK POWELL AND SAM BREWTON OF THE ZUCCHINI BROTHERS
Regarding Stephen Bottino's arrest:

April 10, 2026

The Zucchini Brothers have not performed together as a band since 2018. Although the incident was unrelated to band activities, Steve was fired and is no longer associated with the band, the brand, or either of us, personally or professionally.

Jack and Sam are in shock, angry, and heartbroken. Child sexual assault is deplorable and destroys lives - FULL STOP. We extend our deepest sympathies to the victim.

To those feeling angry, confused, or heartbroken, we share in your sorrow. This was our life's work. We are deeply grateful to all who came to our concerts and listened to our albums and our radio show.

As Jack and Sam continue to carry on in their separate pursuits, their dedication to children and families remains unwavering.

Though we are devastated by this development, to have been a part of so many lives is something that we will cherish forever.

We will have no further statement on this matter.
